‘Smart City Project 2016’ award for Bhendi Bazaar redevelopment plan
Project Name:
Saifee Burhani Upliftment Trust (SBUT) commonly known as Bhendi Bazaar Redevelopment Project, which became a pilot, and also one of the biggest projects for urban rejuvenation of one of Mumbai’s oldest and dying inner city areas.
Scope of Work:
Scope includes engineering coordination using 3D BIM model development, model based bill of quantities of civil, finishing and MEP services, 4D-5D simulation, 'as-built' 3D BIM model etc for the first smart city within the city of Mumbai. It is a redevelopment project under execution in Southern Mumbai, spread over an area of 16.50 area, having 17 high rise commercial cum residential towers, each having 32 to 37 storeys. Total builtup area of approx 95.00 lakh sqft.
Assistance is being provided in construction management of the project by way of schedule & resource management using top-of-the-line 5D BIM solution - Trimble’s Vico Office Suite.
